TATA’s Nexon is one of the most successful compact SUV in India and has been sold in great numbers across India. The SUV is much adored and loved by people in India and as the expression of Gratitude Tata lately launched TATA Nexon KRAZ and KRAZ+ in India and for India. The new editions are launched after the sales of TATA Nexon crossed the figure of 1 lakh. However this is not the first incident, TATA launched KRAZ editions in the past and this is the second time. The last KRAZ editions were launched within the highlights of lime-green and this time TATA adopted tangerine orange for KRAZs.
Price: The TATA Nexon KRAZ starting priced at Rs. 7.17 lakh (Ex-Showroom) and that of KRAZ+ is Rs. 7.77 lakh (Ex-Showroom).
Upgrades?
The Tata Nexon KRAZ and KRAZ+ bring beauty upgrades at interiors as well as exteriors. Both cars look astoundingly magnificent and elegant. The tangerine orange coating the specifics boosts the attractiveness to the next level. However, at the body and the heart, the SUV has no new upgrades. The KRAZ and KRAZ+ edition has the same power train as that of the standard versions and it retains the same shape.
Looks: At the exteriors, the KRAZ and KRAZ+ come in a new color scheme which brings TOSOMO Black body and Sonic Silver roof. The contrasting Tangerine orange is the real hero, the KRAZ and KRAZ+ editions of this compact – SUV comes with orange side mirrors, orange inserts near the right end of the front grille and additionally orange can also be seen at all four wheels. The tagging is inevitable, so finding the same at the rear end is in accordance to the expectations.
The situation at the inside is handled by black seats - theme dedicated tangerine orange stitches, orange accents, the orange border surrounding the vents and the piano black finish of dashboard, doors and console finishers. The 4-speaker infotainment system by Harman, Bluetooth, steering mounted controls, reverse parking sensors, and multi-utility glove box adds to the charm of the SUV from inside.
Engines
The KRAZ editions of TATA Nexon come in either of the company’s standard 1.2 L Revotron Petrol engine or 1.5 L Revotorq Diesel engine.
The difference between KRAZ and KRAZ+
The Tata Nexon KRAZ and KRAZ + only differ in the transmission system. The Tata Nexon KRAZ comes with a 6-speed manual transmission system in both diesel and petrol variants while the KRAZ + comprises a 6-speed AMT transmission system for both petrol and diesel variants. The Tata Nexon KRAZ offers drive modes like Eco, City, and Sports and based on those modes the SUV delivers power and manages fuel consumption.
