Samsung Galaxy Book S: A Laptop with smartphone features:
Samsung organized the Samsung Unpacked 2019 event in New York on 8th August 2019. In this event, Samsung launched its latest product in its notebook series i.e. Galaxy Book S. It is a laptop with a smartphone type features.
Currently, there is no official announcement about its availability in the market. Its price may around Rs. 71,000 in India and it is only available in a selected market only.
The main features of the Galaxy Book S laptop:
- Always-on connectivity: it is ready to use only in a single touch. As you touch the power button; mouse-pad, keyboard and fingerprint sensors are ready to use, just like a smartphone.
- Size and weight: it is an ultra-thin and lightweight laptop. It has just 11.8mm thickness and less than 1 kg weight (around 0.96 kg). It is a notebook size laptop, so it is not required more space.
- Performance: it is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8cx processor, which is a 7nm 64-bit Octa-core processor. This processor is mainly using for expanding a battery capacity for a day, for high-speed cellular connection and instant-on connectivity.
- Battery: It supports 42 watts battery and it can use up to 23 hours in single charging. So you can make reports, watching a video and working for a long time without putting it in charging for the whole day.
- Storage: It has 8 GB RAM with 256 GB or 512 GB of SSD and up to 1 TB expands by using of microSD card.
