Poco F2, case spotted on Spigen’s website suggesting the design to be similar to that of the Redmi K20s
The Adherents of the Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO are eagerly waiting for the next iteration which will too bring flagship range specifications with a mid-range price tag. The curiosity of those enthusiasts can be fairly mitigated by the design leaks and render prevailing over the internet. The renowned mobile phone cover brand, Spigen, has posted the images of the case of the upcoming POCO F2 and renders are created on the basis of the same case which shows off its design resemblance with the Redmi K20 series phones.
Cases of POCO F2
There were two cases listed on the Spigen’s website namely liquid crystal priced at $19.99 and the Rugged Armor priced at $24.99. The presence of both the listing atleast suggests the existence of the POCO F2 somewhere in the world, most probably China. The last POCO phone came along with a Snapdragon 845 chipset which was only found in flagship smartphones at prices above Rs.30,000/- in India, while POCO F1 offered the same under Rs.20,000/-. As the POCO is speculated to stick to its custom of providing high-end specifications at a cheap price point the POCO F2 is likely to come with a Snapdragon 855+ chipset and will be priced below Rs.25,000/-. Moreover, the images of the cases also suggest that it will have a pop-up selfie camera system like the Redmi K20 series smartphones.
Specifications of POCO F2
The POCO F2 will bring flagship-level internal hardware for sure but to what extent can only be speculated. It can be anticipated from the case that POCO F2 will come with a triple-camera setup at the back and a single selfie camera.
The POCO F2 may bring a 90 Hz AMOLED display which is not yet seen on smartphones under Rs.25,000/- and in that way, it will stand unique and alluring.
The battery section will be similar to that of the K20 series and is expected to be around 4000 – 5000 mAh which will obviously last longer.
Price and Release of POCO F2
The brand has not uttered a single word about the POCO F2 but the launch is expected somewhere in the month of January 2020 and its price is expected to be around Rs.22,000/- to Rs.25,000/- in India.
