Xiaomi Redmi 8A Feature Loaded Budget Smartphones in India
The market of smartphones in India is presently dominated by Chinese companies like Xiaomi Mi, Oppo, Vivo, and other such companies but out of these Xiaomi is the most successful brand because of providing cheap smartphones with lots of features. Xiaomi is a renowned manufacturing high quality, feature-loaded budget smartphone in India. In the past, Xiaomi had launched many cheap smartphones under the price of Rs.10, 000/- and will be continuing its tradition with Redmi 8A this year. Redmi A series is the most affordable series of smartphones from Xiaomi and Redmi 8A would be the successor of famous Redmi 7A and Redmi 6A which were priced around 5 to 7 k INR.
Redmi 8A’s few leaks are out which suggests phone’s design along with some key specifications.
The Notch
The Redmi 8A is going to have an HD+ screen of resolution 720 x 1520 of 6.2” size with a water-drop notch bezel-less sides.
Camera
The picture of Redmi 8A disappoints spectators with no dual camera setup, Redmi 8A will be supporting a single rear camera of 12 megapixels with an LED flash and would have a single 8MP front-facing camera.
Chipset + RAM
According to the listing in TEENA’s site Redmi 8A will be powered by an octa-core processor with Snapdragon 439 chipset and 2 GB of ram.
No fingerprint scanner
Like its predecessors, Redmi 8A is likely not to have a fingerprint scanner and the picture reveals the same and the under-display fingerprint scanner should not be expected on a budget smartphone.
Variants
The RAM variants would be paired with 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB of storage and the phone will have the feature of expandable storage.
OS
Out of the box, the phone will run on android 9.0 Pie and MIUI over it.
Battery
Redmi 8A will have a massive 5000 mAh battery for longer battery backup.
Release dates
The phone is expected to be announced on 27th September 2019 in India and will be released soon after its announcement.
Price
The price of Redmi 8A is expected to be slightly higher than the previous Xiaomi’s A series phone but would be around Rs. 8,000/- INR only.
