Xiaomi Redmi TV 70-inch Screen, 4K HDR, Wi-Fi, Dolby and HDMI
“29 August 2019 “ was an important date for Redmi Lovers, because on this day Xiaomi Mi sub-brand Redmi announced its next-generation line up of Redmi note series smartphones along with some other gadgets. The press event of Redmi took place at their headquarters in Beijing at 11:30 IST. Redmi announced their first smartphone which has a 64MP shooter placed adjacent to 8 MP wide-angle sensor and 2 MP camera with a Mediatek G90T chipset which is tagged as Redmi Note 8 Pro and the smaller variant houses snapdragon 655 SoC with 48 MP camera. The announcement of Redmi note series smartphone and an upgraded version of Laptop is in accordance with people’s expectation but Redmi has surprisingly launched Redmi TV to showcase company’s ability to improvise the end-user experience in the television sector.

To compete in the television market Redmi has announced its TV with mind-blowing specifications. Redmi cited that Redmi TV is going to offer a 70-inch screen with a high screen to body ratio along with a UHD (4k) panel and the TV will be simply called Redmi TV 70-inch. It will also have HDR support with a quad-core processor and PatchWall UI which resembles the MI TV line up. Redmi TV will also have support for various audio technology like Dolby and DTS. The TV will house chipset with 2GB ram and 16 GB storage with dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity. The TV will have very thin bezels and a small logo of Redmi at the bottom center.
