The first-ever Honda Activa launched in India was a legendary moped that had created a legacy for the forthcoming. In India, the Honda Activa was the most successful scooter in the last decade and the newer versions of it follow the same path. After the success of Honda Activa, the brand launched its various versions within the last decade like Activa 3G, Activa 4G and all. The Activa which will be soon available in the market is Activa 125 with BS-VI compliant engine but Activa 125 having BS-IV compliant engine is already available in the Indian Market.

Next-generation Honda Activa 125

Honda had recently launched India’s first BS6 compliant scooter that is 2019’s Honda Activa 125. The scooter is launched in three variants namely standard, Alloy and Deluxe. The price of all three variants is different and here the standard is the base model while deluxe is the top model with the highest price among the Honda Activa 125.

Not just BS6

The new generation Honda Activa125 BS6 is an update over the last Honda Activa 125. The new one has now got LED headlamps, Tail lamps and position lamps with a bigger Honda symbol in front. Other features which are included in new Honda Activa are retractable hook behind the front Apron and mobile phone charger (optional)

                     

Power, Performance, and mileage

The new Honda Activa 125 has a 124.9 CC single-cylinder engine which produces power of 8.63 PS with 10.4 Nm of maximum torque. The engine is coupled with a CVT gearbox which the brand claims to give a top speed of 84 Km/h and maximum mileage of 60Kmpl.

The 3 variants

Standard: The base variant of new Honda Activa 125 is termed as a standard variant which has got steel sheet wheels instead of alloy wheels. The facility of fuel injection and the latest starter motor which starts vehicle silently with less charge consumption starts with the base model. This variant does not have LED headlamps as well as a digital instrument console.

Alloy: The name of the  variant itself suggests that this variant will be having alloy wheels but the disappointing thing is that it has got drum brakes at both front and rear wheels but you get other features like LED headlamp, semi-digital instrument console, side-stand engine cut-off and engine kill switch in just Rs.3500/- over standard variant. 

                

Deluxe: The deluxe variant is the top variant which has got all the glory as commonly expected. It has alloy wheels, front disc brakes, and Idle start-stop system with just Rs.3500 as compensation over alloy variant.

                                                       

Price

The price of standard variant is Rs.67,500/- and that of Alloy variant is Rs.71,000/- and Deluxe variant costs Rs. 75,000/-. The registration and bookings for the new Honda Activa 125 BS6 have already been started.
