In this modern era of Artificial Intelligence and the trend of including smart features to products, Revolt Motors has launched its new electric bike RV300 alongside RV400, RV300 is a smaller version of RV400 and costs lesser than RV400 as expected. Hence it can be considered an affordable model.
Price, Review, Performance, and Specification
RV300 accommodates 1.5kW hub motor powered by 60V, 2.7kWh lithium-ion battery with a charging time of 4.5 hours. The range of the bike is estimated to be 80-150km, this is achieved by constraining the top speed of RV300 in all three modes to 25, 45 and 65 kmph in eco, normal and sports mode respectively. Taking suspension into consideration RV300 has got front inverted telescopic and rear mono-shock. RV300 has got CBS as standard. The ground clearance of RV300 is 225mm and it weighs around 101kg. The range of the motorcycle is 180km, 110km, 80km for eco, normal and sports mode respectively.
Looks and Appearance
The overall appearance of the RV300 is sporty which can easily allure young individuals of the present generation. The looks and styling of RV300 is similar to that of RV400 which in fact resembles to KTM Duke styling but with the different color scheme. RV300 has got different color schemes than RV400 which is a combination of black and green and is also available in full silver.
Features
RV300 is gifted with a set of smart features like Geo-fencing, Geo-locating, and fast battery charging. Moreover, RV300 has got 4G-LTE sim embedded in it for better internet connectivity to get software updates from the manufacturer.
The rider can also buy a helmet which remains connected with the bike and offer voice command feature using Google’s voice technology
RV300 vs RV400 (Comparison)
There is a change in both power and looks, as mentioned earlier the RV300 houses 60V, 2.7Kwh battery which powers 1.5KW hub motor which is different in comparison to RV400’s 72V, 3.24Kwh battery powering 3KW motor. RV300 also lacks RBS(regenerative braking system) in comparison to RV400 and considering it looks the RV300 has a different color scheme than RV400. Moreover there no option of tuning the roar of the motor in RV300.
Pricing
RV300 is available through My Revolt Plan. For RV300 customers would have to pay Rs.2999 /month for 37 months, so ultimately the customer will end up spending 1.11 lakhs. The customer would have to pay Rs.1000 as a token amount and bookings for the bike have already been started from July and the rides will be delivered the later month. RV400 is now available in Delhi and Pune and will be later available in cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, and Chennai.
