The offerings of the TVS’s Racing Heritage-TVS Apache RR 310
TVS Apache line-up has been there for more than a decade and TVS Apache RR 310 is the current fully-faired flagship race dedicated bike from TVS that brings the brand’s racing DNA in it. TVS Apache RR 310 was first shown in the Auto Expo 2016 and now it is available across major cities in India. The bike houses astounding race dedicated specifications and design. The bike is claimed to offer dynamic power and high-end racing performance.
Design and Looks
The TVS Apache RR 310 flaunts its sharp, edgy and aerodynamic design which is dedicated to enhance the performance of the bike. The anterior portion of the bike is fully faired and the front part consists of twin-headlamps which look like its eyes and a tall windscreen above it. The shape of the bike is obviously like that of a sports bike and it is based on the trellis frame. The bike has a sporty looking exhaust and attractive and uniquely shaped LED –taillight. The Apache decals can be found on the fairing and overall in terms of looks the bike is very sharp and it is made so to attract people and tear the air.
Specifications
Powering the Apache RR 310 is the 312.2 CC single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, 4-stroke engine with a remapped ECU. The engine generates a maximum power of 33 bhp at 9700 rpm and a consummate torque of 27.3 Nm at 7700 rpm. The engine contains 4 valves and it complies with the BS4 norms. The engine of the Apache RR310 comes coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission system that houses a slipper clutch mechanism. The fuel supply system is the Bosch closed-loop EFI and the fuel gets ignited by a dynamically controlled integrated system. The power is transmitted to the rear wheel through a chain drive.
At the front wheel, the Apache RR 310 has a 300 mm dia disc brake and for the rear wheel it has a 240 mm dia disc brake. The suspension responsibilities are handed over to the inverted cartridges Telescopic fork at the front and two arm aluminum die-cast swingarm at the rear.
The bike comes with alloy wheels of 17-inch size which are rimmed by tubeless tyres.

Review
Pros: Powerful engine, Better handling, Comfortable for day to day use,
Cons: Vibrations have been reduced but it is still present at high revs, Motor may sound noisy few times, Braking can become an issue for some hence need improvements.
Price
The ex-showroom price of the Apache RR310 in India is Rs.2,24,000/- which is slightly less than the performance legend KTM RC390. The Apache RR310 stands as an alternative to Kawasaki Ninja 300, KTM RC390 and other similar sports bikes.
