TVS Apache RTR 200 4V (2020) will come with feature updates and BS6 engine in 2020
In the year 2018, TVS launched two racing bikes for Indian streets and out of the two, the premium one is called the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. The bike brought along with it the racing theme and styling with a powerful engine having 4 valves and now the company is going to launch the same bike with some newly added features pertaining to smartphone-connectivity, aesthetics and ride info. Moreover, the brand is also going to bring BS6 conformity for the safety of the environment.
New features on TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Digital
- New console which will support Bluetooth connectivity – TVS SmartXconnet.
- The connectivity will provide rider, information on lean angles and G-force.
- Tour Mode – showing data on Average speeds, ride time, fuel used up, Mileage and more.
- Gear distribution – will show the rider’s utilization of the cog - gear shifts.
- The digital console will also be able to show turn-by-turn navigation too.
- There will also be a crash alert system.
Aesthetics
- New LED headlamps
- New Rear taillights
- New digital console
Engine
- The upcoming version of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V will have a BS6 compliant engine.
- Fuel injection system will be made standard across all variants.
The Bikes will be the same at their hearts that is the bikes will be powered by the same 197.75CC fuel-injected Engines which will deliver the maximum power of 21 PS and a peak torque of 18.1 Nm. The bike’s engine will be attached with a manual transmission system consisting of a 5-speed gearbox which will range the top speed up to 129 Kmph. The price of the upcoming TVS Apache RTR 200 4V would be Rs.10,000/- to Rs.15,000/- more than the existing non-ABS fuel-injected Apache RTR 200 4V. The Ex-showroom Price of the upcoming Apache RTR 200 4V would be around Rs.1,25,000/- and the bike is expected to get launched in the month of February in 2020. The bike will go on sale in the same month. There is no final word from the company regarding the sales of the same digital console and equipping the same on the already sold last version bikes.
