Hero Leap is the first electric-serial-hybrid scooter designed by Hero and was first appeared at the Auto Expo 2012.
The key attraction of this e-bike is the dual mode of use. Generally, electric scooters are run by rechargeable batteries only. But Hero Leap will come with the 3-liter fuel tank that gives it four times the range of batteries. It means, if recharging is not available, the 124cc engine will be able to run the bike with petrol.
