Honda allied with GUJARAT STATE POLICE to improve Road Safety in the State.
Honda, India’s 2 wheelers manufacturing corporate, has always remained safety-oriented and wants Indians to be safer on roads in terms of crimes and accidents. The Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd showcased its safety program for Gujarat state on August 27, 2019, at Gandhinagar dist of Gujarat. The event was held in association with GUJARAT state Police and was with the aim of providing quick help to victims of road-accidents to save lives.
Honda presented well equipped customized motorcycles to the GUJARAT STATE police which would have modern patrolling and policing equipment like revolving flashers and blinkers, sirens, public announcement systems, cruiser side box, and flashlights along with two Honda helmets per motorcycle. These motorcycles were presented in the presence of Hon. Chief Minister of Gujarat, Mr. Vijay Rupani and IPS, Director General and Inspector General of Police – Mr. Shivanand Jha. IPS, Superintendent of Police, Gandhinagar, Mr. Mayur J. Chavda was also present at the event along with other dignitary’s officers.

Further ensuring safety for all citizens, today we join hands with Gujarat Police and present Honda motorcycles. These customized motorcycles will help them in preventing crime in the state.”

Under Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) Honda has been offering various kinds of assistance to by powering the quick response team in Pune, Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Dhanbad, Mohali, Gurugam and Panchkula with Honda motorcycles for faster patrolling and crime prevention and is with the view to assists as many states as possible in future.

Honda has been indulged in activities that promote women empowerment, community development, road safety, health care, skill development, and environmental sustainability. Honda has also built vocational training centers for women and is providing scholarships to 5 women to become a pilot under “ Sapno Ki udaan “ project. These clearly indicate that Honda is well bonded with the society, by such CSR activities.
