On September 9, 2021, Fords Motors announced its exit from India. But before that, these three cars performed remarkably in the market.
Ford Ecosport
Rolling on the roads as one of India’s most popular compact SUVs, the Ford EcoSport was initially launched in 2013. This car is available in six variants: Trend, Titanium, Ambiente, Thunder, Titanium+ and S.
This model has a seating capacity to accommodate five members and is available for two different 1.5-liter engine options. To clarify, the petrol variant delivers a 122 PS, and 149 Nm output, and the diesel variant gives out 100 PS output along with 215 Nm torque. Furthermore, the petrol variant offers a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox. On the other hand, the 1.5-liter diesel engine is only offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox option.
In terms of features, the Ford Ecosport gets an SYNC3 touch screen infotainment system, automatic climate control, cruise control, auto projector headlamps, and smartphone integration. Additionally, the Ford Ecosport also gets a connected car tech suite. This model flaunts traction control, hill start assist, electronic stability control, and six airbags for safety features.
Finally, the pricing for Ford Ecosport ranges between Rs. 8.19 lakh and Rs. 11.73 lakh.
Ford Figo
Since 2010, this car has undoubtedly been one of the most preferred vehicles by Ford. The company’s smallest car is offered in four petrol power variants. In addition, Ford offers the Figo in Trend, Titanium, Titanium BLU, and Ambiente. Likewise, the diesel variant of this car is offered in three variants.
Furthermore, the Ford Figo has impressive features such as auto headlamps, Ford pass-connected tech, rain-sensing wipers, six airbags, auto-dimming IRVM, and a start-stop push button. The Ford car is also equipped with sporty cosmetics and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Ford Aspire
This compact sedan Ford Aspire model is based on the Figo platform. It is positioned in the same segment as the Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze, and Hyundai Aura. Again, Ford offers the Aspire in three petrol variants, with only the entry-level model available in the entry-level Ambiente trim.
For the features list, the Ford Aspire gets auto headlamps, auto drumming IRVM, connected car tech, rain-sensing wipers, six airbags, and more. Ford also offers connected tech and a push start-stop button system for the car.
