MG eZS (an electric SUV)
The MG (Morris Garages) from the International Automobile market debuted in the Indian Automotive market through MG Hector and has planned to launch its second car. The second car from MG would be MG eZS, an electric SUV which was released in the International market earlier this year in the month of April. The all-new MG eZS will be from the bunch of first electric SUVs in India.
First Looks
Exterior: MG’s upcoming SUV was recently spied and snapped while getting tested on the road. From the image, it becomes clear that the body of the Indian version MG eZS is almost the same as that of the global version.
- The front grill of the e-SUV is outlined by chrome inserts which are itself sandwiched between the Projector headlamps of an LED kind.
- The wheels are taken from the international version and were seen to be dual-toned.
- The rear end of the e-SUV is speculated to be the same as that of the global version.
Interior: The interior of the eZS was seen to be all black in color and with a large 8” touchscreen infotainment system at the center of the dashboard. The interior looks impressive because of silver inserts at few places inside the car.
Electricity as Raw Power to drive
As mentioned earlier the eZS SUV is a complete electric SUV, which runs only on an electric motor. This electric motor develops a power of 150 PS and can produce a torque of 350 Nm. The electric motor draws power from a 45.6 kWh battery. The same on a single full charge can provide a range of 428 Km which is claimed by NEDC. The battery can be a fast charge from 0 to 80 % in just 30 minutes.
Production
The production of the e-SUV is exclaimed to be taking place at carmakers manufacturing facility at Halol in the Gujarat state of India. The car will be one of the first locally produced electric cars in India.

The MG eZS is expected to hit in the Indian market near December 2019 and the expected price range of the eZS is Rs. 22 to 25 lakhs in India.
