TATA Tiago JTP Price, Performance, Review and Looks
Tata Motors unveiled and launched the two cars TATA Tigor JTP and TATA Tiago JTP in collaboration with JAYEM Automotives Pvt. Ltd. These cars are performance dedicated and budget pricing which sounds unusual but TATA made it possible for the young generation of India. Tiago JTP is a hatchback while the Tigor JTP is a short-sedan like Swift Dzire.
The Tata Tiago JTP is an updated version of Tiago which comes with sportier looks and a more powerful engine with slight dimensional changes.
What makes Tiago a performance hatchback?

The Tiago gets is power out from a 3 cylindered 1.2 L turbocharged BS4 petrol engine which is like that of Tigor JTP, named Revotron, the engine delivers 114 PS power at 5000rpm and generates torque of 150 Nm at 2000-4000 rpm.
- Looks and appearance
The engine itself eliminates the rivals at such price and considering its sportier looks which is meant to attract youngsters can easily allure anyone. The Tata Tiago is available in two color variants, Berry Red and Pearlescent white.

As expected, the Tiago JTP delivers excellent performance. This is made possible by turbocharging which enhances the overall performance of the engine. The Tiago JTP can reach 100 Kmph in less than 10 seconds however the top speed of the ride is electronically limited to 160 Kmph. The Tiago JTP consists of a 5-speed manual transmission system.
The engine and other parts of Tiago JTP are a little bit noisier in comparison to Tigor JTP and Tigor JTP offers more driving comfort than Tiago JTP in some ways. The handling is of Tiago JTP is par but lighter weight and smaller wheelbase makes driver afraid of losing control more easily. All in all Tigor JTP feels slightly better than Tiago JTP but when money comes to the picture the Tiago clearly is a winner as it offers some kind of performance like Tigor JTP but with less price. Hence Tata Tiago JTP is all made for performance seekers who are strung by budget.
