The Popular Chinese brand, Oppo, has launched the Reno series smartphone first in the Indian market which proves the Indian market stands crucial for Oppo. The Reno series recently got new members like Reno 2, Reno 2F and Reno 2Z, and now the brand is intending to add Reno S to the series in the very near future. The Reno S is reported to come with a host of flagship specifications and features. The phone will carry on with the legacy of holding Shark-fin selfie camera design at the top. The price of the phone is anticipated to be above Rs.40,000/- in India.

Reports suggest that the Oppo Reno S will be a flagship of Oppo and will cost accordingly the last most expensive Reno Series smartphone was Oppo Reno 10X which is going to be superseded by the Reno S.
The Oppo Reno S is said to come with a Snapdragon 855+ chipset, just like recent flagships, which is admired for its processing and gaming capabilities which is the outcome of the Adreno 640 GPU.
The Oppo Reno S is speculated to bring HDR10 support at the display front and may also bring the Dolby Atmos or DTS-X audio technology.
The Oppo Reno S will allegedly have a Penta camera set-up and if not quad-camera is for sure and the primary camera would be of 64 MP resolution. At the front, the phone is likely to have a dual-camera set-up instead of a single camera.
There is something astounding at the battery section too. The Oppo Reno S is said to pack a 4000 mAh battery and the phone will support SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging capabilities and using it the phone will get charged from 0% to 100% in just 27 minutes (less than an hour).
Oppo Reno S – design and looks
The Oppo Reno S is expected to hold on to its shark-fin selfies pop-up camera design and will bring the back panel with a gradient finish. The phone will have a similar size to that of its predecessor.
