Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL
With Samsung already selling its flagship GALAXY note 10 Series smartphones and Apple launching its latest next generation of iPhones, now the time has come for Google to jump get into the war zone. Google has confirmed 15th October as the launch date of Google Pixel 4 and 4XL. For the launch event, the firm has sent invites to some tech journalists to show some new products along with the Pixel 4 and 4 XL. The new product is likely to be Nest Mini and few rumors suggest the launch of Pixel Book 2.

Face Unlock - Google’s version of Apple Face ID.
Face Unlock feature has been around for quite a while. The trend was led by Apple and Apple’s infrared hardware for 3D Face recognition has now become the source of inspiration for google to such extent that the new Pixel line up will have similar kind of hardware for face unlock.
Soli Radar Technology
The Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL are said to have a new kind of sensor at the top, which will sense the hand gesture. Using this sensor the user will be able to de a few things like swiping to the next image in the gallery without touching the screen or going back without using the navigation button or gesture and other similar things. Google calls this as Soli Radar Technology which will enable gesture control. This has some dark side too, to accommodate this sensor the phones will have bezel at the top which ruins the excitement of pixel lovers who were expecting full front display like that of OnePlus 7 Pro.
Display
Pixel 4 is said to have 5.7” AMOLED display having resolution of FHD + with the refresh rate of 90 Hz like that of OnePlus 7 Pro which will give smooth user experience. The Pixel 4 XL will have the same kind of display but of larger size that is 6.3” with a resolution of 3040 x 1440 that is 539 PPI (pixels per inch). As mentioned earlier both the phones will have top and bottom bezels which look better than the notches.
Camera
Like a sheep of the herd, Google is going to follow the new trend of providing triple camera sensors on the upcoming Pixel 4 and 4 XL smartphones. The upcoming Pixel phones are confirmed to have a square-shaped array for rear camera sensors similar to iPhone 11 series. No doubts with the camera quality, the pictures taken by Pixel 3 phones were of extreme quality and the new Pixels will be having better camera quality than then its previous generation. The main camera lens of the phones will capture a resolution of 12.2 MP with the aperture of f/1.7 and the telephoto sensor will help you focus the subject in 16 MP resolution. The front pixels will have a single 8 MP camera.
Color Variant
Images of Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL in three colors variant are already leaked and are prevalent over the internet. Along with white and Black, Orange is the new member. Both Orange and White pixels are seen to have a black metal frame around them.
Android 10
The last update of android 10 was the last beta update and now the launch of official android 10 is very near. The new Pixel smartphones are expected to come with android 10 out of the box.
Chipset
The forthcoming Pixel smartphones are said to have Snapdragon 855 without the “+” Soc holding 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
Batteries
The Pixel 4 is going to have 2,800 mAh of battery, while the larger variant Pixel 4 XL will have 3,700 mAh of battery. Pixel 4 lineup has more battery than the previous generation to power Soli chip and higher resolution screen on Pixel 4 XL.
Price
The price of Pixel 4 and 4 XL is expected to be around Rs.70,000/- and Rs.85,000/- respectively in India.
