Huawei Nova 5Z
Released in China and soon arriving in India.
Huawei recently launched Nova 5Z as a cheaper variant of previously launched Huawei Nova 5i Pro. The Nova 5Z’s key features and design points include quad-camera setup arrange in a square array, punch-holed display to place the AI beauty enabled selfie camera, and the sleek design with a gradient back finish. The price of Huawei Nova 5Z is less when its specifications are taken into consideration. When launched in India the phone will go head-on with smartphones from the mid-range segment that includes multiple Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo and Realme smartphones comprising similar specifications.
Design and looks
The Huawei Nova 5Z comes in elegant design, as it does not have any kind of notch above its display and instead features a small punched – hole near the top left corner of the display for the selfie camera. At the back, the phone has a quad-camera set-up which sounds pretty common these days and arranged in a square array, unlike any other smartphone. The Nova 5Z comes in three different color variants namely Black, Aurora, and Emerald Green with gradient finish back. The phone because of the quad-camera setup and gradient back looks premium.
Specifications
The Huawei Nova 5Z runs on 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 810 SoC which is claimed to offer 80% better performance over the last Kirin. RAM and storage wise the Nova 5Z comes in variants of 6 GB RAM –64GB storage and 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage.
The Huawei Nova 5Z flaunts a 6.26-inch FHD+ LTPS IPS LCD display generating the aspect ratio of 19.5: 9.
The Huawei Nova 5Z as mentioned earlier has a set of four cameras at the back each serving different purpose. The set consists of a 48 MP of primary camera sensor behind an f/1.8 lens, an 8 MP camera sensor at the focal point of a wide-angle f/2.4 lens, a 2 MP camera sensor with f/2.4 for macro shots and a 2 MP of the camera sensor with f/2.4 lens for sensing the depth of the content. The selfie images can be captured using the 32 MP camera having the lens of f/2.0.
The Huawei Nova 5Z stores 4000 mAh of juice, which can be juiced up using a 20 W fast charger.
The Huawei Nova 5Z would be a complete package if it had an under-display fingerprint scanner instead of a rear-mounted one.
Features
The Huawei Nova 5Z features Huawei’s Ark compiler which speeds up the app loading and smoothens the end-user experience. Moreover, it also features AI beautification in selfie images and photos clicked through the rear camera.
Price
The Price of Huawei Nova 5Z in China is CNY 2199 which roughly equals to INR 22500/-, So the expected price of Huawei Nova 5Z, when released in India, is nearly Rs.25,000/-
