Oneplus strategically launches the two major flagships every year and now it has become it's custom – Flagships and their” T “models at a time gap of 6 to 8 months. The T models are just believed to be the minor improvements over the previously launched Flagship, absolutely launched in the first half of the year. This year in the first half OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro were launched and sticking to its customs the brand recently launched OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro.

What comes with “T”? – OnePlus 7T Pro over OnePlus 7 Pro

Looking at the spec-sheet of OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T Pro it is very difficult to find out the brought up changes or spot the amendments on the latest 7T Pros. But the difference can be noticed when both the smartphones are sighted side by side. Though the difference in specifications is difficult to find but it exists undoubtedly.

• Chipset upgrade: The spec-sheet of OnePlus 7T Pro reads a “+” sign adjacent to Snapdragon 855 which signifies the up-gradation of the Chipset from the 7 Pro. The brand claims that the Snapdragon 855+ chipset is more optimized for faster processing and gaming.
• The 12GB RAM variant: The launch of OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition is in accordance with the expectations which was the outcome of the brand’s history (OnePlus last year launched 6T McLaren Edition which made people expect the McLaren Edition for 7T Pro too).
• Colour: The OnePlus 7T Pro is available in a new colour called Haze Blue only which is more like the colour of the sky.
• Battery: The battery of the OnePlus 7T pro is tweaked to produce more battery backup and comes with an additional 85 mAh capacity. However, the charging system remains the same as that of OnePlus 7 Pro.
• OnePlus 7T Pro comes with Oxygen OS 10.0 and Android 10 out of the box.
• The OnePlus 7T Pro can shoot super slow-motion videos at 960fps and comes with a perk of macro mode to capture close objects with detailing.
• The real magnificence in the upgrade is the adaption of exquisite matte glass finish which feels completely different than the 7 Pro.
• Moreover, the position of Laser AF module is now outside the camera module and is at the left side near the primary lens.
• OnePlus 7T Pro costs Rs.53,999/- while the older version OnePlus 7 Pro is available at Rs.47,999/-

Should I buy OnePlus 7T Pro?

It would really be an insensible act to buy OnePlus 7T Pro just to upgrade from OnePlus 7 Pro. As the changes brought on the T model does not justify the increased cost or proves OnePlus 7 Pro outdated. But upgrading from some other OnePlus models like OnePlus 3, 5, 6 or their T models makes a lot of sense.
