Reliance Jio Giga Fiber Plans
Reliance Jio has already created a revolution in the wireless TELECO market in India, but Jio seems to have some bigger agenda than just a wireless network. For the last three years, Jio has been testing its fiber broadband internet service in selected cities around India and on the side, it was laying these fiber lines at other major cities in India which itself is a smart move that makes people aware of the upcoming revolution in the sector of home broadband services.
Jio announced the Gigafibre on 15th August 2019 and launched it on 5th September 2019. At the announcement, few glimpses of the Giga fiber plans were seen but after the launch complete information about various plans and complimentary services can be obtained.
Jio calls this system as Jio Giga fiber (FTTH- Fibre to the home) as Jio is the first-ever company which provides fiber optics line till home which enables it to surpass other broadband service providers in terms of data speed that is of up to 1 Gbps.
Tariffs
The registration for Jio Giga fiber aka JioFiber Broadband has already started and for that users would have to pay the one-time payment of Rs.2500/- of which Rs. 1500 is refundable security deposit for the ONT device which Jio provides and Rs. 1000/- is for installation charges. Under Jio Giga Fibre FTTH users will get broadband services along with Landline and TV services. There are various plans but the cheapest plan is of Rs. 700 per month and the costliest is Rs. 10,000/- per month. The speed of these plans will range from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps.

Currently, Jio is offering Jiofiber Preview plans under which the user would just have to pay Rs. 2500/- as mentioned earlier and would get free services for 3 months just like Jio welcome offer.
What else the subscriber will get?
- For new connection the customer would just have to pay Rs.2500/- which comprises Rs.1500/- as a security deposit for ONT device which is refundable and Rs.1000/- as installation charges.
- Annual subscriber will get Jio Home Gateway (Of Rs.5000/-) and Jio Setup – Box which would have 4K support (Of Rs. 6400/-).
- Other complimentary services include TV, Video calling, Home networking, Gaming and Device security (From Norton for up to 5 devices), these services are of worth Rs.3300/- which will be provided free along with OTT apps.
- Complimentary access to Jio Cinema and Jio savan for 3 months under Rs. 699/- plan.
- Premium content for Diamond, Platinum and Titanium Subscribers.

How to register?
The registration for Jiofibre is quite simple.
- The customer would need to visit the official website.
- Fill the registration form.
- Finish the verification of email and phone number.
- Fill the details.
- Click the submit button.
