Vivo NEX 3 - 5G high-end features at affordable prices
Vivo has been around in the Indian smartphone market from the year 2014 and in India, it is renowned for selling magnificent smartphones with a quality camera and other high-end features at affordable prices and hence the brand is beloved by Indians for the same.
Vivo freshly announced new flagship range smartphones with the name, Vivo Nex 3 and Vivo Nex 3 5G. The phones were announced to be launched somewhere in October and hence will be available to the customers in the month of October. Out of the two as the name suggests Vivo NEX 3 5G will have 5G support. The phone will be available in two color variants and two storage variants.
5G
The Vivo NEX 3 5G will have the capability to support a 5G network which may give download speeds greater than 2 Gbps.
Camera
Following the recent trend of flagship smartphones, Vivo NEX 3 5G will have a 64 MP f/1.8 wide-angle primary camera sensor accompanied by a second 13 MP f/2.5 telephoto sensor and third 13 MP f/2.2 ultrawide sensor. Hence the phone will have a triple rear camera setup at the back to capture ultra-sharp and detailed images along with the facility of portrait and ultrawide shots. The Vivo NEX 3 5G has a motorized pop-up 16 MP camera with f/2.0 for better selfies and an uninterrupted display.
Chipset, Processor, and GPU
To handle the heavy hardware the Vivo Nex 3 5G will have Snapdragon 855 + (7nm)chipset holding on an octa-core processor (1x2.96 GHz Kryo 485 & 3x2.42 GHz Kryo 485 & 4x1.8 GHz Kryo 485) paired with 8 GB of RAM and will have a variant with 12 GB of RAM. The phone will have a storage capacity of 128 GB and a 256 GB variant too. The Snapdragon 855 + chipset is admired for its gaming capabilities and hence is expected to perform very well on Vivo NEX 3 5G. At GPU front the phone will be packing Adreno 640 clocked at 700 MHz which is the latest in the market and is mostly seen with snapdragon 855 and 855+.
Display
Vivo NEX 3 5G flaunts 6.89” super AMOLED display that will produce punchy colors with better contrast and deeper blacks. The display will be notch-less having a resolution of 1080 X 2256 which sets the pixel density to 336 PPI (pixel per inch). The Vivo NEX 3 5G will be having an under-display fingerprint scanner for speedy unlocking.
Battery
The phone will be powered by 4500 mAh battery which will get fast charged by 45 W fast charger.
OS and UI
The phone will be running on Android 9.0 Pie covered by FunTouch OS 9.1.
Release and Price
The Vivo NEX 3 5G will be first made available in China and then to other Asian countries in the month of October. The phone is set to launch on 2nd October 2019 and with a price tag of CNY 5,698 which is approximately equal to Rs.57,000/- in India and the 12 GB RAM variant will be priced at CNY 6,198/- that equals to Rs.62,700/- in India.
