Review: The main camera sensor of 64 MP captures great images with better contrast and dynamic range but for the other sensors the case is different. As the ultrawide sensor is of only 8 MP it captures wider images but with less detail. Moreover, the depth sensor struggles to deliver great portraits and it is the place which requires improvement in post-processing. The Macro Lens allows focusing to nearer objects but because of f/2.4 it doesn’t capture sufficient light and delivers dark images, So its futile as the same thing can be done by cropping the image taken using 64 MP sensor which will gather same or more details, unlike the macro lens.
Internal Hardware
For the first time a Redmi Series smartphone didn’t come with a Snapdragon Chipset, the Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a MediaTek Helio G90T SoC which is dedicated to gaming. The same Chipset boards Octa-core processor out of which 2 are clocked at 2.05GHz and the rest 6 are clocked at 2.0GHz. The processor is paired with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage in the base variant and can also be found with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage in the Top variant.
Review: When it comes to the capabilities the Redmi Note 8 Pro corners out its competitors easily and gathers a great score in benchmarking. The phone doesn’t get heated up while gaming which is the outcome of providing vapour chamber within the phone.
Battery
The Redmi Note 8 Pro is powered by a 4500 mAh of non – removable battery which can be fast-charged using an 18W fast charger. The battery provides sufficient backup for gaming and other normal needs and lasts for a day or more under normal usage.
