Samsung Galaxy S11 codenamed “Picasso”
Samsung has recently launched Galaxy note 10 series phablets in the market and now if the Samsung sticks to its convention of unveiling S series smartphones in February or March then Samsung lovers would have to wait for Galaxy S 11 until first quarter of 2020, till then they would just have to rely on few leaks, some rumors, more anticipations, and much curiosity. The rumors along with people’s expectations and leaks about galaxy s11 are already prevailing over the internet.
What to Expect?
Camera
In May 2019 Samsung came up with new kind of camera sensors of 48 and 64 MP and later on a statement from Samsung like the main camera setup on galaxy s11 would be different from the previous s series phones like S8, S9 and S10, which along with the codename “PICASSO” clearly hints that Samsung is going to use the latest announced 48 and 64 MP camera sensors on the Galaxy S11.
Chipset
The upcoming Galaxy S11 is expected to have a 5 nm chipset along with a massive RAM of 12 GB. The few leaks over suggest that the chipset of galaxy s11 has already been benchmarked and it’s likely to be Snapdragon 865 for US version.
Front Camera
Taking the front camera into consideration many other brands like 1+, Oppo, Vivo, etc. have implemented a motorized pop-up or flip front camera, Samsung has not embraced the concept of moving the front camera. Samsung neither had shown its interest in the under-display camera concept nor will only after the technology gets fully developed.
- No 3.5 mm audio jack as it’s already been removed in Galaxy note 10.

- From a software point of view, the Galaxy S11 is expected to have android Q with One UI 2.1
- The screen is expected to be AMOLED with an increased refreshed rate of 90 or 120Hz.
