Being Human Clothing

In a unique licensing arrangement with Being Human - The Salman Khan Foundation, Mandhana Industries has brought out a clothing line with a heart where royalties from the clothing line support education and healthcare initiatives of the Foundation. With an exclusive global license to design, manufacture, retail and distribute Being Human Clothing, Mandhana Industries Ltd launched the brand in 2012 in Europe, followed by Middle East and India. As of 2014, Being Human Clothing is available in more than 15 countries worldwide : Bahrain, Belgium, Dammam, Doha, France, India, Jeddah, Jordan, Kuwait, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Riyadh, Spain and UAE. And, Being Human Clothing has over 300 retail and 7 online selling points worldwide including 120 retail and 4 online selling points in India.

Being Human Clothing offers to its customers, a world-class fashionable product coupled with the satisfaction of doing good. Being Human Foundation

To increase the reach and corpus of the Foundation, Salman Khan has undertaken ini-tiatives such as Being Human art and Being Human merchandise. Proceeds from the activities of these initiatives go towards spreading education and healthcare for the un-derprivileged.

BEING HUMAN ART

The first showing of Being Human Art was an exhibition of Salman Khan's paintings at Dubai in October 2009. The response was tremendous and more exhibitions are being planned.

BEING HUMAN MERCHANDISE

Being Human fashion was announced at HDIL India Couture Week 2009 in a show that made fashion history by featuring the biggest ever line-up of superstars including Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Govinda, Katrina Kaif, Saif Ali Khan, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. At HDIL India Couture Week 2010 Salman launched Being Human watches and followed it up with another glittering show featuring Bipasha Basu, Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Preity Zinta, Priyanka Chopra, Rani Mukherjee and Sushmita Sen.

The Being human Foundation is dedicated to helping the underprivileged in areas of healthcare and education. The Foundation has partnered with several organizations to further its reach.

- The Foundation partnered with the Marow Donor Registry to create awareness and generate donors.

- The Foundation has also set up free eye camps in Patiala, Wai, Nanded, Waje, Satara & Mumbai.

- The Foundation recently partnered with Fortis Hospitals to provide free treatment to children with congenital heart defects.

- It funds a secondary section of a school run by the NGO, Aseema.

- It supports the NGO, Akshara, where it takes care of 18 kids studying at its school.

- Proceeds from art exhibitions of paintings of Salman Khan are used to support the cause of the foundation.

Salman Khan is one of the biggest stars in the world's biggest movie industry. Over 1000 movies are made in India every year but Salman Khan's movies are among the most anticipated and most reviewed.

In keeping with his iconic status, his wax figure is showcased at Madame Tussauds, London. Being Human - The Salman Khan Foundation works in the areas of education and healthcare for the underpriviledged in India. Salman Khan believes there is a lot to be done in both areas and the work done by the Foundation is closest to his heart.

Mandhana

Mandhana is a multi divisional Textile Company spread over multiple geographical locations. They engage in manufacturing of textiles and garments with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The scope of Mandhana’s business includes designing, yarn dyeing, weaving, processing, printing and garment manufacturing. Planned infrastructural developments have helped them integrate vertically and establish themselves as a niche player in the Indian Textile Industry with a turnover of over Rs. 6250 million (as on financial year 2009-10).
