Following are the requirements for Authorized Service Centre status
Business Requirement
Individual / Organisation's applying for authorized service centre (ASC) status are required to have been in operation for a reasonable period (preferably from automotive workshop business), with audited financial records available for review by Hyundai Motor India (HMI). Applicant/s who do not meet these requirements may still apply if there are special circumstances, as each application is reviewed on case-by-case basis.
Premises
The organsization must contain a commercial walk-in service location with dedicated service personnel in an easliy accessible location. The premises must include a clean and presentable reception area for customers who requires a walk-in service, and a secure workshop area for repair, storage of parts and incoming units for repair. A residential address is not acceptable as a service location unless agreed by specific arrangement.
Operational Requirement
Service providers are required to meet Hyundai's standard at all times with regard to service levels, space guidelines, certification of techinicians and availablity of required manpower to provide service to customers. HMI typically audits and review ASC to ensure these high standards are consistently met.
