Manufacturing and R&D

Production Capabilities

The company has state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in India along with R&D activities in India & China, enabling the company to be a pioneer of technology across categories of business. They are in the process of setting up an Integrated Design House (IDH) in collaboration with the Reputed Chinese design house in order to enhance technology know-how and drastically reduce their technology time to market. Currently they have 4 manufacturing units in India - Jammu, Baddi (HP) and Noida and are in the process of setting up a 5th Manufacturing Facility (coming up in Greater Noida). Intex has a strong presence in the PC Multimedia Speakers market with an annual capacity of nearly 2 million units.

In House Research

The in-house research and development facility boasts of novel and original products. This is ensured with usage of the latest version of Altium PCB design software along with SolidWorks 2011 AutoCAD 3D mechanical design software. Monthly reviews of field failure data, vendor visits, new product introduction are also conducted.

Quality Management

Under close supervision of the Quality Assurance team, Intex has an annual capacity of 40 million mobile handsets, 23 million Mobile Batteries & Chargers and around a half million LED TVs. The company is in the process of setting up its 5th and largest manufacturing plant in Greater Noida where all the above manufacturing capacity will be consolidated.
