1. Do I need relevant experience in the travel industry?
Ans. Experience in travel industry is preferred but is not a show stopper for people who have passion for the travel industry, adequate business acumen, leadership traits, proven management capabilities and an ability to adapt to a constantly changing and evolving travel industry is preferred.
2. MakeMyTrip is an online company so what is expected from the retail stores?
Ans. Retail stores are opened to cater to the increasing holiday needs of the customers. Generally, it is seen that customers prefer to book holidays post a satisfactory and thorough discussion in person with executives at our stores, as compared to making an online booking.
3. What all products does MMT deal in?
Ans. Franchisees are involved in exclusive selling of MMT offerings like domestic and international flight tickets, hotels, holidays, group movements, charter products, travel insurance and other travel related products. A retail store is not allowed to sell products of any other.
4. What is the potential for earnings?
Ans. Franchisee gets a fixed commission on fixed departures holidays, a percentage based commission on different customized products of holidays and hotels.
5. Is the franchise fee refundable?
Ans. No, franchise fee is non-refundable and is applicable for a period of 3 years. This agreement is renewable on the basis of the performance of the store.
6. Who will build my store?
Ans. The franchise will be responsible for internal communication branding and project work of the store. MMT marketing team will assist the franchise to select the location and to maintain the standard of store specifications.

9. Is location an important selection criterion?
Ans. Yes, location is an important selection criterion and the store should ideally be at a high footfall area, with a good frontage and signage space, preferably at high street, shopping malls or commercial complexes.
