No details found.The mother company of MILCENT APPLIANCES PVT LTD., SWASTIK ENGINEERING WORKS was established in 1946. Swastik Engineering Works was a very small company which employed 7-8 workers initially and was simply involved in repairing of oil engines. The founders of this company were 2 partners. MILCENT has six branch offices and more than 850 retail outlets across India and has presence in all major states of India. Because of enthusiasm of the founders, MILCENT Group launched a hand driven curd churning machine in the market and subsequently domestic electric curd churning machine was developed. For this invention, the founders of MILCENT got Patent rights and were also honoured by the then Finance Minister, Government of India, Shri Morarjibhai Desai by awarding a Gold Medal to Mr. Jashbhai Patel , the founder and father of present CMD Mr. RohitKumar Patel.
The subsequent development of MILCENT Group was invention of Domestic Electric Flour Mill which was launched in the year 1960. For this also MILCENT enjoyed patent rights for initial 16 years. Thus, invention has been an inherent characteristic of MILCENT. After the launch of the domestic electric flour mill, the company began its advancement and started expansion of its business. As time went by, the product became more popular in the market and has now colored the life of the people with more convenience and comfort, simultaneously saving cost of grinding grains manually. The second generation took over the management in the year 1972 and since then, many different models of domestic flourmill have been developed and launched in the market. MILCENT is now enjoying a lion’s share in the Domestic Flour Mill market. MILCENT Group has also diversified and expanded its’ activities into developing residential schemes of bungalows and multi-storied buildings, home appliances and also pharmaceutical products under the name of Amanta HealthCare LTD.
Pioneer of domestic electric flourmill, Milcent is a name that now has global identification, it is the only Indian domestic flourmill that is acknowledged by the Japanese and has now reached in their homes. This innovated domestic flourmill is CE Certified, which is the standard followed by European countries, to ascertain the reliability and safety ratings of a product. Also, Milcent should be proud of its product because it has the title of ‘The Pride Of Gujarat’, as it has received the prestigious MSME Award from the Government of Gujarat. The electric motor manufactured by Milcent for the flourmill is also ISI Certified.
