Company Profile

Inception

On Dot Couriers & Cargo Ltd was established in the year 1991 with its headquarters in Delhi. The company came into the existence as result of the owners’ vision of providing an affordable couriers and express services to the corporate’ as well as individual retail customers. During these years On Dot has crossed many milestones and is set to cross many more soon. On Dot, besides being one the oldest courier and cargo companies in India is also counted among the top 10 nationally present express companies.

Network

On Dot has over the years assiduously built a network that responds to the changing aspirations of their clients. On Dot network of more than 4000 booking centers, 4 zonal offices, and state of art 15 regional offices is further supported by around 150 branch offices for providing effective operation set up. On Dot also repeatedly displays its unique capability of organizing services to many ODA and Non- serviceable for the clients who are in need of such a service and are accommodative in terms of cost.

Infrastructure

On Dot has created adequate and modern infrastructure to support its vast network across the country. The company runs a fleet of self controlled vehicles to create efficiency in intra-city and intra-zone movement of load. The load processing centers are fully equipped with latest tools in IT Technology to maintain constant watch over the operations. The strong rooms in each hub ensure the safety of securitized shipments.

Technology

On Dot fully exploits the technology to support its operations and other activities. The multiple use of scanners to manifest and record the movement of each and every shipment that passes through its network helps to create a successful Trace and Track facility in the system. The company has achieved 100% computerization within its self network. The centralized back- up servers ensure an appropriate disaster management system and ensure efficient management information and analytical tools. A 100% percent mobility and abundant use of messaging tools ensure a fast communication module so vital in express industry.

Manpower

On Dot employs more than 250 senior management personnel to manage the day to day affairs and to provide strategic direction to the company. A highly dedicated and professional team of around 1500 middle level managers provide the core of its team. In addition, a strong force of around 10,000 workers, directly or indirectly, ensures the smooth execution of the operations at the grass root level.

National Dox

- National Dox : A pan India service for the pickup and express delivery of documents anywhere in India within the company network. Service available in more than 800 destinations covered by around 5000 pin codes. Booking in convenient 250 gm weight slab.

- Local Intra-city Dox : A city specific courier service for the delivery of documents meant for delivery within the same city. This service is available nationally, in convenient 250 gm weight slab.

- Bulk Mail : A nationally available economical service for the delivery of bulk mail within the city, within state and geographical zone; as well as inter-zone. Documents accepted up to 50 gms. Bookings accepted for number of documents as low as 500 in a lot.

National Parcel

A nationwide service for the courier delivery of small parcels. All small parcels up to 3 kg weight moved by Air mode only. No limit to the number of parcels booked under single AWB. Option of moving the Parcels either by Air or Surface. Facility for SECURE movement available at a nominal additional cost.

International

- The world at your doorsteps services available in different Express and economical modes.

- Express Document service available for more than one hundred international destinations.

- Documents booked in convenient 500gm slabs.

- Express parcel services also available to all major international destinations.

- Special arrangement for Heavy load international shipments.

Heavy Shipment

A dedicated multi-mode cargo service for heavy shipments. Service available for all destinations. Option for Air or Surface movement available to clients. No limit on the number of pieces travelling under a single Airway Bill. No limit to total weight of the shipment. All inter-region movement by surface undertaken through dedicated express trains only. A desk to desk to service available with SECURE feature at nominal extra cost up to certain value.

Reverse Logistics

An immensely popular and efficient nationwide service offering Return Solutions from even the remote areas of the country. Service particularly beneficial for express pick up of spare parts, replacement parts, defective parts etc. Service designable for challenging destinations and also to products requiring beyond routine operations. All processes controlled by IT driven operations.
