History

V2 Retail Limited is one of the fastest growing Retail Company in India. The company offers a portfolio of products, including apparel and non-apparel. The company sells ready made apparels . V2, which stands for ‘Value and Variety’ it sells good quality fashion garments at prices significantly lower than other clothing brands. V2 Retail has stores which are between 3500 to 25,000 sq ft in size. While Vishal Retail was serving the low-income segment in which consumption of fashion products is low, V2 will cater to the middle class. V2 Retail offers fashion at affordable prices which suits every individual and household. The stores cater to the major chunk of population and have more than 70,000 products which fulfils all household needs. The benefit derived from centralised procurement system in the form of reduced costs is passed down the value chain to the consumer.

Mr. Ram Chandra Agarwal, Promoter of the Company had set up his first Vishal Garments store in Kolkata in 1994. In 2001 he had moved to Delhi to launch Vishal Retail, taking it public in June 2007 to raise Rs. 110 crore. Vishal Retail was the first retail company in India which opened One hundred showrooms across India. The company is looking to open 20-30 V2 Retail stores by next financial year, which is expected to clock a combined turnover of Rs 50-60 Crores a month.

They have been successfully serving the Indian retail market for more than 25 years.
