Worst Car Service Provider in the Tricity
Pathetic service by CM Nexa Auto Sales Mohali. They don't have any co-ordination at all. My car's wind shield glass (Car Number CH01BH2781) was broken so I went there on 15th July 2019 to get it done by making an insurance claim. They said "Sir, your insurance policy is about to expire in a week or so. Why don't you renew it first and then make a claim. In that case, you will get a no claim bonus as well". I liked the idea (Trust me, everyone wants to save some rupees. Since we are a human being and it's our nature) and decided to renew it first. I renewed the insurance in the same day by paying about Rs. 13,310 to Maruti Insurance (It was only about Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 8,000 from United India Insurance or Oriental but still I paid about Rs. 5,000 extra to Maruti Insurance because I wanted some peace at the time of insurance claim settlement) and then came again in the evening to get my car repaired. They took my old insurance and completed the inspection. On paper, they mentioned 18th July as the date of delivery but promised me that they will get it done on 17th only. I got a call from 7009267602 on 16th morning and the guy requested me to send a new copy of the insurance policy since he is facing some issue with the old copy. I sent the new copy on his Whats-app number and then after no call/response from CM auto. I called them on 17th evening for some update (since they had promised me verbally that they will get it delivered on 17th). They said, "Sir, we are still facing some issue with your claim and it will take another 2-3 days." I said, "your should have informed me earlier. I can't keep paying Rs. 300 to Rs. 400 every day to Ola and Uber". Then I visited the CM auto sales office. I was surprised to know that there was no progress on my claim and they started making an explanation that since I have taken no claim bonus so it is not possible to make a claim. I said, "it was your idea, not mine". They kept making explanation. Finally, I requested them to get my wind shield fixed and whatever is the amount, I was ready to pay from my pocket since I had already paid about Rs. 1,000 to Ola and Uber and I really didn't want to keep paying this (at the top of it, they had quoted about Rs. 1,400 as filing charge on a total claim value of about Rs. 4,500 only. It was funny). Finally, they got my wind shield replaced on 18th July and I ended it by paying Rs. 4,800 from my pocked (and about Rs. 13,000 as insurance renewal charge which could be done just in Rs. 7-8000 if I would have picked other insurance provider). I requested them to give some discount on labor cost because they misguided on insurance settlement but the guy denied giving any discount. At last, I requested them not to call my anymore for car service or anything else. Today, on 30th July 2019, I received a call from some Mr. Amarjit Singh from CM Mohali by saying he will give me some discount on the next service but I denied. Dear CM Motors, you have just lost one loyal customer (I had always used CM Mohali for any minor or major servicing or body shop related work. The fact is, I had their Loyalty card that I threw in a dustbin 1 week ago) and offering some discount won't get me back. We prefer comfort over money. If I'm supposed to visit your workshop everyday to get my work done or if I'm supposed to make 20 calls to get things done then there is no sense to pay higher for the insurance or servicing. There is one more instance that I would like to mention here. During the car inspection process, they were saying, in order to increase the chances of getting the claim accepted, I need to break my headline and some other front portion with stone, bricks or rod. Then it will look more natural. Thank god, it didn't agree with his idea. Otherwise, I had to pay for those broken headlights as well. Guys, please avoid CM Nexa Mohali and go with some other option. Otherwise you will see yourself writing a similar review someday.
