Transfer of shares
I wanted to transfer all my shares from Upstox to SBICap. I had called the customer care. I was told that filling up of the DIS in the nearest SBI branch (by selecting Receipt instead of Delivery) would also work instead of contacting Upstox. I went to the SBI Bokaro branch. The girl at counter 20 absolutely had no idea and told me to visit the Ranchi SBICap branch. Really disappointing. I wanted to deal with the process through SBI itself and not through Upstox as the number of shares are more and the amount involved is too much.
