Shoes causing trouble but no help from the department.

I've purchased a pair of belly last Sunday. After wearing it once , I got shoe bites all over my feet. And today when I went to them to get it exchanged/returned or what so ever , they simply denied. We have kept our slippers over there only. We didn't take it with us. Highly unexpected this kinda behaviour from Pantaloons.
