Vivo S5, after multiple teasers, is ready to make the official appearance in China on 14th November. Through teasers and other sources like Weibo Posts, many design aspects and key features are known ahead of the official announcement. The renders floating over the internet confirms the design and some key features of the upcoming Vivo S5. The most recent render brings in the front a color option of the Vivo S5.
Design of Vivo S5
The renders of the Vivo S5 flaunts key design features like a quad-camera setup: three along with an LED flash placed on a square bump whose sides do not runs parallel to the edges of the phone and a single camera located just below the square bump at the center. The front camera is housed in the hole-punched display near the top right curve that bounds the display. The volume rocker and the power key are found along the right side and a 3.5 mm audio jack can be seen at the top instead of bottom beside the USB type – C port. The antenna lines can be seen at the sides and look more apparent, unlike other smartphones. The Vivo S5 as of now is seen in two color options with gradient finish at back - showing shades of blue and white.
Vivo S5: Specifications
Vivo is following the trend of featuring 4 camera at the back and a single at the front in it. The primary camera would be of 48 MP and that of the front camera would be 32 MP which can be confirmed from the TENAA listing. The Vivo S5 will have a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, and an octa-core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz and paired with 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The Vivo S5 will run on a 4010 mAh battery and obviously will have fast charging support but the tech is yet to be known and confirmed.
Price and launch of Vivo S5 in India
The Vivo S5 is expected to get launched in India in the month of December and is expected to come with a starting price of Rs.18,990/- with a 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage and the price of 8GB RAM and 256 storage variant can be Rs.24,000/- in India.
