Apple iPad Pro, 2019 or 2020?
(Expected partial specification and logically expected features, rumors and expected price range)
People around the world love gadgets having big screens and every electronics brand knows this fact very well, and the American Tech Giant, Apple, is also very well aware of this fact, Apple will be soon unveiling its next generation of Apple iPad Pros and there are two possibilities for announcement date, apple is either going to announce the next generation in October 2019 and if not then in March 2020. But sooner or later Apple is going the release its next generation of Apple iPads.
Previous iPads
The last iPads were unveiled in 2018 in two screen sizes 11 inches and 12.9 inches, with major changes over the previous ones. The last iPad Pros were the first iPads to have no home-button and were gifted with Face-ID. The iPad Pros 2018 was crafted thinner (5.9 mm thickness) than the previous ones but with a lot of processing power along with enormous displays that drain out the battery quickly. The displays of iPads are mainly responsible for such a battery drain.
What technology next Generation iPad Pros will be stuffed with?
- The chip of next-generation iPad Pro is likely to be Apple’s A13.x with more speed and better power efficiency. – Whether it is iPhone, iPad, or Mac-book every next generation of the device is expected to have new chips and more amount of RAM and speedy storage. The A13 chip is already equipped with iPhone 11 line-up and next-generation iPads will too have the same or similar kind of chips.
- The new iPads will debut with iPadOS. – The Apple recently unveiled iPad along with iOS13 and is set to release on 30th September 2019 and out of the box, new iPads are anticipated to have iPadOS.
- The next iPads are expected to have a 5G variant – The 5G ready smartphones are already available in the market and it would be shameful for Apple to again release their devices without 5G.
- The 64GBs may get vaporized. – After 16, and 32 now its time for 64, the next-generation iPads are expected to have base storage of 128 GB and should range up to 1TB.
- The New Oled Panels on iPads. – The iPads are facing fierce competition from its rival Samsung GALAXY tab S6 which has a very large Super AMOLED screen with such high pixel density and it consumes less battery. So it would become difficult for Apple to survive in the segment of Tablets if it sticks to its IPS LCD panels which also performs poor in producing punchy colors and deeper blacks compared to OLEDs or AMOLEDs.
- Longer battery life. – The next-generation iPads will pack more battery like that of iPhone11 and may last longer than previous iPads.
- Improved Apple Pencil connectivity.
- Improved Face-ID.
What about the cost?
The new iPads will fall in the price range of $850 to $1600 which is approximately Rs.75, 000/- to Rs. 1, 35,000/- in India including Taxes.
