The evolver of the trend of designing and manufacturing phones with foldable screens, Samsung, has influenced Motorola to revive its age-old form factor of flip phones. Motorola teased its Motorola Razr phone more than once and much of its specifications are now known before the brand’s official announcement and the remaining can be easily anticipated.

Design and Looks
The existence of the Moto Razr was first confirmed in April 2019 when the phone went for Bluetooth certification. The silhouette of the Moto Razr flaunts the clamshell type form-factor showcasing the combination hinge of the flip phones and the foldable AMOLED screen. The phone flips open to augment its length and allow accessing the foldable screen. It is for surety that the Moto Razr will have to compete with the likes of existing phone will foldable screen from SAMSUNG called GALAXY Fold and Mate X of Huawei and upcoming phone with such display tech namely Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha and more importantly Samsung W20 5G having the same form factor like that of upcoming Moto Razr.
Specifications
The forthcoming Motorola Razr will have high-end specifications along with its revived design. The Moto Razr is said to be coming with a Snapdragon 710 chipset basing an octa-core processor paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage the phone will support storage expansion maximum by 256 GB using a micro SD card.
The Motorola Razr is severely deficient at optics front as it is said to feature only a single 12 MP camera at back in the world with modern phones having at least three camera sensors keeping the budget segment aside. At the front, the Razr will have an 8 MP selfie shooter to capture faces and more.
The most astounding thing, the foldable display comes in 6.18 inches size which covers a resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels escalating the pixel density to 544 PPI. The AMOLED screen will obviously deliver vibrant and punchy colors with extreme contrast and ultra-deep blacks.
There will be a fingerprint scanner at back and the phone will house a non-removable battery having the capacity of 2730 mAh.
Launch, Price, and availability
It is claimed that the Motorola Razr will be made official on 13th NOV, 2019 and is likely to go for sale under the contracts of carrier named Verizon in the USA and not everyone will able to buy it, keeping aside its hefty price of 1500$ roughly 107000/- INR, as it only 200,000 units will be available in the first wave. The Motorola Razr is expected to be available in a few selected countries after the end of 2019.
